so im 14 yrs old and right now and im using my moms old digital camera cause she has a professional one. but i am looking at new cameras for myself. anyways teens take lots of pictures with theirs friends, so i wanna be able to in my pool. i was thinking about getting a underwater case for my camera (and yes im gonna pay for it). but im just not sure that my mom would be okay with it, but its basically my camera because im the only one who uses it! so any ideas on how i would be able to convince me mom into letting me buy a underwater case for my camera?? please helpp i want to get a case soon!!! thanks(:

Regardless I’m getting a digital camera & I’m wondering if its worth dishing out the extra cash to get it underwater accessible or just get the 8 dollar one at walmart that takes 27pics.
Also if you suggest the underwater digital.. which one would you recommend?

I have the Canon SX210 that have Waterproof case made for it. At least not at a normal price. Would I be able to use a "Dry Bag" like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Waterproof-Under-Water-Digital-Camera-Case-Dry-Bag-20m-/270635592754?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f03236c32 and not damage my camera? If so how deep would it be able to go?

Me and my friend we’re taking pictures underwater when he jumped out and said the latch opened underwater. It was only under for a few seconds and then we took everything out and let it dry on a towel. The next day fog/condensation started showing up on the outer edges of the screen where you view your pictures, and every time I turned it on it would ask me to reset the date and time. Then when I finished it went to the screen where you are about to take your picture, and all i saw were purple lines thick and thin across the screen? Is it broken for good, or can I blowdry, put it in rice or something to fix this? Thankyou
