im going on a holiday to the bahamas and would love a camera for underwater picture taking, what camera would be the best? i am looking at a 100 to 300 pounds kind of budget

i have been looking to get a camera for a while. i do not need like a digital slr or anything, just something to take pictures with my friends with and stuff. i also kind of wanted an underwater one, since i am a swimmer and i think it would be alot more fun. i have been looking at two models, the olympus stylus 550-wp and the Fuji Finepix Z33 WP, but after reading reviews of both, im a little concerened. most people say the cameras have alot of noise and take not-the-greatest indoor pictures. so suggestions of good cameras to buy would be gretly appreciated. if they are good but arent waterproof, thats fine too. i just need some ideas. my price range is probably anywhere up until the lower-mid 200′s.

I need a little bit more pro equipment, so, dont suggest me those digital cams.
I had olympus u8000, its not so good.
I want an underwater camera with great resolution and possibly a light on it.

Can anyone please recommend a digital underwater camera for me? I dive (down to 30m) and snorkel quite a bit as I’m backpacking through SE Asia.
Is it possible to get a camera that is always waterproof (and doesn’t need a housing) that is good enough to use as a normal camera for everyday use also?
I like the look of the olympus ones but they don’t go deep enough for what I am really after.

I’m going to Singapore in a few days so I’m hoping to buy one there.

I have seen information on the Pentax W30 and an Olympus. I would like this to be a useful camera for general use as well as for snorkeling.

i am thinking of buying Fujifilm FinePix digital camera and i am wondering first off all, is this a high quality camera? Also it has an underwater feature, how could i protect it (with no risk of breaking what so ever) while taking a picture such as this
? P.S. they do not sell waterproof cases(as far as i know) for this model. If they do please tell me where and how much it costs.
