This is footage from the Canon Powershot D10 while underwater during my visit to the Yucatan. nothing spectacular, just some fish. My review of the camera is a 3.5 out of 5. Picture quality is GREAT Ease of use is GOOD Battery life is GREAT…. Used it during the flight from DFW to MEX city to Cancun, then at the beach, then today, 2 days of continous use and only now is the battery low. Durability… so far so good but this is where theres a problem. –Currently my Canon Powershot D10′s cover for the USB is allowing water to become trapped in the area but keeps a seal around the actual USB plug. This will become a problem should water thats in the area flow into the USB plug when opening. Also the only way to dry out this water is to open the cover. I will be contacting Canon about this though to make sure i didnt get a faulty one.

we were having a snorkeling getaway when i used a supposedly "waterproof" camera pouch to protect my canon sd750 digital camera. we were taking underwater pictures when suddenly, my camera didn’t turn on. i decided to set it aside. after awhile, i tried to turn it on, but the camera’s metal body/casing was already warm, so i immediately took out the battery. ever since then, it wouldn’t turn on, but everytime i place the battery back, there’s a blue light on the upper right corner of the camera but doesn’t show any display. HELLLLPPPP!!!! I’m sooo desperate to revive my camera. ((

I cannot find a place that sells this camera in store and I don’t have time to wait for shipping before my vacation.

Are there any good ones? Recommendations? Prices?
Reasonably priced for me is no more than 0. I just want a camera that will take good pics underwater and some videos…just for like the beach or something. Nothing fancy or too special.

i go diving and snorkeling a lot..i don’t want something super fancy and i want it too not look like im a professional photographer if i want to use it out side of the water. i was looking at olympus but just wanted some help.

My price boundary would be 0 or less would be better. I’m thinking whether a Canon or a Sony. I currently have the Canon IXUS 750 but I don’t why I’m not that happy with it, no problems though, but I think theres better out there. I like the Sony N2 or the T20, or T100 but I heard that Canon’s are more durable. I want a wide screen and that anti shake whatever. and also I want 1 second thing, that thing that takes the photo fast with no delay. my canon delays sometimes. and also curious about thouse underwater camera’s but that’s a different matter, are they just cases or the entire camera altogether? thanks for the help. =)
